Guess I am now unstoppable in ALL seasons, right? Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ needs no introduction but here’s the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . But I got them at Sam’s Club on their Black Friday sale. $130 offa set of 4 with free installation. Tirerack had a similar deal as well but involved Visa prepaid gift card and all that, plus no free installation. Was either this or $20 per tire cheaper BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S; Continental DWS 06 was my #1 choice but no deals anywhere this good. They still have it going on if you’re interested:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I literally have 20 miles on this so will wait for the break in before a full review but initial impressions are that it seems to ride smoother but it stiffer when I hit road imperfections. Can’t comment on handling yet but seems to be almost same noise level as the previous tires- Hankook Ventus Noble S1 Nobel 2s-Which are
Terrible
! I do not recommend them at all.
Lasted barely 15,000 miles before wearing down to 3/32s already. It came with the car as a brand new set. Decent in dry but not good enough in the wet. Buy anything except these if you are going for UHP all seasons.

Good luck with them!

Glad to see I wasn’t the only one to have a terrible experience with Ventus S1 Nobel 2s... I’ve got snows on the car right now but I will definitely be switching to something else in the spring

How can an all season last just 15k miles??
My indy 500s lasted 20k miles and that was with 1 autox and 2 tail of the dragon (at least 6 runs each time) plus me hooning it everytime I drove it.

I know right? That bad. And this is mostly city driving of course, and moderate to sometimes aggressive driving style, but still. I was shocked! It’s not like I have a 500HP monster that lights up the tires every time, or a super heavy SUV/truck that puts a lot of pressure on them.

I have been happy with my Pilot Sport A/S 3+ so far (about 4, 000 miles) , although they are a bit noisy, as you say. Fun to take corners with these.

I just got a set, initial impressions are quite positive, even in cold, wet conditions (we’ll see about snow, and hopefully won’t have to see about ice).
They feel significantly stickier than the Michelin Premier A/S tires that were on there.

Good to know. Snow is not a problem, it hardly snows more than 1 inch here anyway. Cold, heavy rain grip should be good for me along with good handling and acceptable noise level.

Anyhoo I'm getting new indys next year. Them good.

I got more miles out of performance summer tires. The rears on the M3 lasted 19k miles.

Never again! not that I had a choice that time , but it’s only Continentals/Bridgestones/Michelins for me.

I found them to be noisy too. I’m happy to say that after a year they appear to be less noisy, o r I just have grown accustomed to them. At first I though I thought I had some AT tires on my car. Performance is great though.

I have the BFG on my WRX. They are a pretty good tire so far with a good many miles on them. Great in the wet, ok in the snow, but just nowhere near my winter tires that I had on it previously. I had Eagle F1 Assymetrics on it before these and those lasted maybe 15-20k. I really wanted a decent tire that would last a bit longer and was ok in the snow or cold if I didn’t get my winters on quick enough.
